Please join us online for a talk on military service, citizenship, women in the military, and veterans in U.S. society with The Hon. Mary Kolar.

Mary M. Kolar is the Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs. She serves as the chief advocate for the more than 345,000 veterans of Wisconsin and their families. Secretary Kolar holds master’s degrees in National Security and Strategic Studies (Naval War College) and Adult Education (University of Rhode Island), and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She served on active duty in the U.S. Navy for 28 years, retiring as a Captain (O-6).
