Support

Direct support from generous donors makes it possible for the CSLD to bring intellectual diversity and engagement to the UW-Madison campus community. Every gift, whatever its size, is needed and appreciated. The University of Wisconsin Foundation, established in 1945, raises, invests, and distributes funds for the benefit of the UW-Madison and other donor-designated units of the University of Wisconsin System. If you would like to give a gift now, either online or by mail, you can follow the instructions below. If you have questions about financially supporting the CSLD, Liz Feist, the UW Foundation’s director of development for the Law School, would be pleased to meet with you.   2. Complete the form and click “Submit Gift.”

To mail a gift for the CSLD to the UW Foundation:

  1. Print out and complete the PDF form here.
  2. Please designate the gift to the “Center for the Study of Liberal Democracy Fund.” Your gift to this fund will be used by the Center to advance our mission, and will not be put to any other purpose.

Foundational Support

The Center for the Study of Liberal Democracy, housed in the University of Wisconsin Law School in continuing partnership with the College of Letters and Sciences, was founded with support from generous grants from the Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In the past, the CSLD has also received generous support from the Charles Koch Foundation in Arlington, VA.

In recent years, much of the Center’s funding has come directly from individual donors committed to our mission. We invite you to become involved in our efforts to expand intellectual diversity on campus.
