Eugene Volokh: National Rifle Association of America v. Vullo
Professor Eugene Volokh will discuss NRA v. Vullo, a case in which the Supreme Court will determine when regulatory jawboning goes beyond public speech and becomes a First Amendment violation. In Vullo, the state of New York allegedly pressured businesses to cut ties with the NRA because state officials disliked the NRA’s positions on gun control and sought to drive it out of business.
