Dr. Kleck’s research focuses on gun control, crime deterrence, and criminal violence. He is the author of several books including Armed: New Perspectives on Gun Control (with Don B. Kates, Jr., 2001, Prometheus Books) and Punishment and Crime: The Limits of Punitive Crime Control (with Brion Sever, 2017, Routledge).
