The recent revelations about Twitter working with the government to squelch legitimate news stories has revived discussions about media bias. Some claim the national media is biased against conservatives and Republicans. But what do the data show? The Center will host Professor Tim Groseclose, professor of economics at George Mason University, to discuss his book Left Turn: How Liberal Media Bias Distorts the American Mind.

Tim Groseclose: Professor of economics at George Mason University and the holder of the Adam Smith chair at the Mercatus Center. In 1992 he received his PhD from the Stanford Graduate School of Business (specializing in the School’s Political Economics program).
