Biography
Sig is an attorney and instructor with the university who has been involved with CSLD in various capacities since his undergrad days. Presently, his research focuses on the intersection of Roman republican political practice and historiography. He is broadly interested in the relationship between political violence and free speech in antiquity, and is currently working on a biography of Lucius Sisenna, a Roman republican historian who was “canceled” by later historians. Sig has taught courses on American government, the European Union, the Russian invasion of Ukraine, liberalism & conservatism, and the intersection of law and the humanities.
